Parish Pastoral Council

Made up of twelve parishioners who meet once a month and help the pastor with major decisions affecting parish life.

Evangelization

Reaches out to inactive Catholics and invites others to discipleship. It sponsors door to door visits during the summer. This past summer, we visited over 500 homes in our neighborhoods.

Men's Club

Members support youth activites, camping trips and fund raising for the parish.

Christian Service

Christian Service Commission

Coordinates service in the parish, hosts an annual luncheon and visits the homebound at Christmas.

Knights of St. Peter Claver

National organization for Catholic lay men and women whose purpose is "to render service to God and His Holy Church, render aid and assistance to the sick and disabled, and promote social and intellectual association among our members."

Society of St. Vincent De Paul

Assists the parish in serving those in need, has a food pantry and clothing closet, which are open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, 10:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.

Kitchen Committee

Prepares and serves the meals and refreshments at parish events.

Funeral Refreshment Committee

Coordinates and serves meals following funerals.

Worship

Altar Servers

Are boys and girls who serve at the altar during Mass. They range in age from nine to 18.

Altar Society

Dedicated women of the parish that clean, prep and polish the sanctuary.

Religious Education

Classes prepare children for receiving sacraments and explore basic foundational principles.

Youth Ministry

Offered during mass provides small children with their own Sunday Liturgy.

Faith Sharing

Offers various topics for discussion, reflection, and prayer.

Men's Faith Sharing meets Tuesdays, 7 p.m.

A Pilgrim's Way: Scripure Study

Six-month bible study course.

Stewardship

Stewardship Commission

Coordinates fundraising, building projects and the use of resources.

Health Ministry

Resources will provide screenings, education, and information regarding health matters and preventative care.
